To those who have taken the time to look...
As an avid outdoorsman and photographer for his entire life. Scott E. Martin
has carried a camera from the mountains of Montana and North Carolina,
to the swamps of the Everglades in South Florida. Starting photography
long before the advent of digital technology Scott has seen a lot of advancements,
but remains true to heart to use regular film and cameras.
Although he acknowledges the digital world of photography and uses digital
for his journalism. He uses strictly film and his knowledge of all their character-
istics to capture his breathtaking and beautifully colored scenic pictures.
Being a purist at heart, Scott does not use any form of computer enhancement
or colored filters to change or alter any of the colors or pictures. He will wait many hours
for the skies to obtain their natural beauty before clicking the shutter.
Using 35mm, medium format, and large format medium. Scott recently
has focused his efforts to capture the local beauty of South Florida and to share the
extrordinary scenes he sees through his eyes.
